Leafhopper...I think.

I love my wife...her and a friend went shopping yesterday and when she dropped her friend off she saw this guy and thought of me...so what is a girl to do but scoop it up and bring him home in a sack...A VICTORY SECRETS SACK ;^0 and this will be the only picture that you guys will see that came out of that sack ;^)

Nice photo. That would be a Katydid of some species. Most that I've seen are green, but there are other colour morphs. This page has some photos of colour variations in one species:
