Black Crowned Night Heron

Shot this Black Crowned Night Heron fishing today down at the lake…he sure was concentrating…and it paid off, he got one.
Shot it with the Bigma and a 1.4 extender for a total of 700mm handheld full frame ;^)

This is excellent. I like the sense of being ready to jump. And the lighting even though it is midday is quite excellent.
