Good observation. The bike came that way from the bike shop. The owner touted this setup as being lighter and I was happy to have it that way.

Interesting nut someone made for the QR. I see the pivot bolts on the rear mech were swapped out for alloy as well. I always wondered why Moto didn't even put a rear mech cable brazeon on these frames. Their lower end frames were studded with stops everywhere, though I think they spot welded those stamped steel pieces in place.
