Here I am with the bike I used to climb the hill this year. It's a 1960 Ives that I purchased from Hal Munn, who was the L.A. Wheelmen President for many years.

This is the second time I've ridden the Ives up Fargo Street. The first time, several years ago, I used first gear. This time I did it in second gear. It wasn't easy but I made it.
