I stumbled across a jazz club, the Charity Cafe, that was near our hotel in Rome. To my good fortune, it was "blues night" and I was treated to some good music. These Italians played with intensity and passion. All the songs were vintage American tunes, and all were sung in heavily accented English. The guitarist was especially good.

The light was poor but I tried to catch the atmosphere of the club and the feeling that the musicians had for the music with this shot.
