I happened to be there for a momentous occasion for the residing pair of eagles
This is their third try for a clutch of eggs
Hope this one is successful

So far an interloper has caused the failure of the first clutch
Then the mom was frightened by a night time disturbance and broke the second set of eggs

another and perhaps final egg was laid on Saturday . . . .

cool...I caught the coopers hawks here in that same pose...I dont even bother any more cuz I'll just damn myself to hell with all the cussin I do when I use my lousy tele. LOL Then I get a big urge to buy some glass I really cant afford right now. :)

In response to Robin.... sadly in this day and age we need to protect images like this with a copyright over the key parts of the photos. I don't do it often enough and I can't begin to tell you how many hundreds of my photos have been stolen and show up all over the place. And then there's the revenue I've lost because those photos could have been purchased. Finally, I do a lot of my photography for volunteer causes... if I sell a photo, the proceeds will go to the SPCA or some such other organization. Every time a photo is swiped from online, that's money that doesn't get donated to these organizations. Sorry to go off on a rant, but these sort of complaints about watermarks on photos really bug me.

Great shot ... however I don't like your copyright on top of the key focal point of the image.
