20 JUL 05 SCRABBLE . . SORT OF

Between patients or during down time, the docs play their version of a medically oriented scrabble
This is a large bulletin board in one of the offices
I shot it in B&W then increased the contrast in PS so that the words would be more visible

This is hysterical. I so miss having co-workers.

PATHOGNOMONIC - it means a sign or symptom of a disease that is SO characteristic of that disease that it is used as a defining diagnostic tool . . . .the spots of measles, for example . . . long explanation of a funky word not ususally found in everyday conversation . . .now THERE'S one for your next cocktail party!! LOL!

I like the sense of construction with works. The contrast bump gives it a blueprint type feel

Has anyone ever jumped up screaming happily, "YES! I'VE GOT SYPHILIS!"? Great idea to pass time though!

Lung disease seems to play a large role at the top. I'm sitting here still coughing from a four week old cold so I notice things like that. And sexually transmissible is two words. But I'm quibbling. :) Fun photo. I've been looking at it for 10 minutes now trying to come up with a word. LOL.

There's a message there, somewhere!

I see the word "pullet" in there. A pullet is a female chicken.

What a fun game. It would be scary if you knew all the words :)
