05 JUN 05 EVERY WORLDLY POSSESSION B&W

I don't usually see a lot of homeless in my neighborhood
Her feet hurt, it's hot out, and she obviously had everything she owned in that basket

So when I saw her I just had to stop

She wasn't too happy with my intentions either
But I offered to get her lunch

well done.
I've been in the position before, no not homeless, but them not wanting their pics taken and considering a bribe. But I decided against it. I made a U-turn and came back for a second shot!
Regards

Really makes you sad, but you did the right thing, hope she liked her lunch!

Sad. It could happen to anyone. I hope she enjoyed the lunch. You really captured the pathos of homelessness here.

A great example of what photojournalism can do.

Heartbreaking.
At least it is not an SP ;-)

She looks tough. But I'm sure that is because she has to be ... sad that it takes so few bad things to go wrong for this to happen.

Very cool shot but really sad that people live on the street like that.

Life in the street is tough. Great real life capture.

Yes, you just can't ignore this souls. I don't think the one I photographed yesterday had any possessions...
