The following 3 pictures show the different focused area on each photo before blending,
they were blended into a single image thru' a software "Helicon Focus":

Nikon D2Xs ,Nikkor AF-S 60mm Micro F/2.8G ED
1/60s f/8.0 at 60.0mm iso100 full exif

A very difficult image to take indeed... either all white or all black colors are very difficult as the camera tends to bring it in the middle colors. You did it perfectly CM... a difficult image, yet, you make it alive... well done CM.
