I just spent a busy and fun-filled vacation exploring and photographing some of the better known and moderately acessible waterfalls in western North Carolina and northwestern South Carolina. My "guide" David, who lives in Spartanburg, SC. went out of his way in seeing that we had a great time viewing these falls and finding several varieties of wildflowers, including my first Lady's Slippers. I just hope that some of these images do justice to this most beautiful area of the United States.
