Hi Kevin, I loved the food in Chicago. So much more flavour and spice than on the West Coast. There was an outstanding Indian, one of the best I have been to, in Niles, that is north of Chicago, called "The Himalayan". It's next to the DMV ;-)
Also "Byon's Hot-dogs" was quite the discovery. Oh and BBQ there was a place in Evenston that had the best BBQ Pork I have ever had.

Yeah, the pink foliage is something you get or don't. It's nice that it is close as I could get to colour IR film without resorting to serious photoshop trickery.

Regards,

Colin

Yes Eddie, I'm from Scotland too. Fae Ardrossan in fact.
I moved out of Chicago, I couldn't deal with the the snow, and now live in Arizona. Ah the desert ;-)

McLaughlan is not a typical spelling for this name, usually there is an "i" at the end.
Glad to see another with the same spelling, are you from Scotland?
My name is Eddie McLaughlan and am from Glasgow, but now live in Northbrook, just north of Chicago.

Cool pics. Although I never quite got the whole pink foliage thing.

How are the restaraurants in Chicagoland?
