Over the last 4 years it has become somewhat of a tradition to spend our Halloween weekend at the Oakwood Hotel in Makati – a premiere serviced residential apartment in the most central location in the entire city. We checked into a 3 bedroom suite, but were upgraded to the penthouse. 3 massive bedrooms, two of which had sprawling balconies that offered some spectacular views; huge lounge and dining area, separate kitchen and maid’s quarters with laundry area and a separate service entrance – the room was fabulous! We spent two nights there and took all the kids trick or treating in the nearby Dasmarinas village on the 31st.

Oakwood has become special to us for more reasons than just the convenient location and homely layout; it is a chance for the entire family to get together and spend much needed quality time.
