THE THUNDER

DR. THUNDER (1994-2008)

The doctor left this world on May 20, 2008 after his kidneys began to fail. I adopted him when he was 4, and he travelled from Albany, NY to Binghamton, NY and finally to Maine with me. He was a constant and loyal friend. Some things you should know about him:

-He was an all-black cat, which is actually rare, as most black cats, have a little bit of white somewhere.
-Whenever, I came home he would almost almost always be waiting for me at whichever door I came in from.
-He was very intrigued by crows (I like to think because they were black like him)
-He was very disturbed by the lawn mower (even though he was an indoor cat, the noise was very disturbing)
-He had a chronic respiratory infection, and would have great sneezing fits that sometimes sent mucus flying everywhere (yes, it was disgusting, but also sort of funny and oddly endearing)
-His favorite toys were those plastic bands they use to tie up boxes and newspapers
- He used to chase after those little "real fur" mice if you threw them, he wouldn't return them, but he would would bat them around for a minute, then sit there and wait for you to throw it again.
