Since I'll be out of town most of Sunday, and I'm working on Monday, this is the only day I have to photograph the veteran's memorial. I had a bunch of shots I liked, but I sort of liked the DOF and angle on this, which seemed to make it less static. You can see the rest of the shots by clicking this link:

While taking these shots, I made plans to type up a long-winded diatribe on the war in Iraq and war in general, but instead, I'll just say this: Let's not forget that the ultimate scarifice has been made by many in the past, and to avoid having to add more names to these memorials, or worse, build more of them, let's try to get our troops back home, and to safety as soon as possible.
