28 April

Johnson City, NY

I didn't take many photos that I liked today. However, I saw something interesting in this one. The sunlight off the broken windows adds a little something.

I live in an area that is really struggling economically (well below the national average in all forms of growth). Because of this there are some very "unphotogenic" areas. I like to go to these places once in awhile, not only because it's make me think think a little differently about photography, but it also gives me perspective (the non-visual kind).

Windows with missing panes are like mouths with missing teeth.

Michael, I like this image ... 'reality photography' ... there is a certain beauty and romanticism in the decay ... perhaps a hope for better times ... found beauty. The windows sparkle - like gems or sunsoaked water.

Almost.. Almost looks like a really pixilized Image. I think Photography goes hand in hand.. with Perspective and Patience eh? Always good to develop all 3.
