Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre , Sarawak, Borneo, East Malaysia.
Young Orang Utans who have been orphaned or rescued from captivity are trained to survive in the wild.
In the early stages of training they are kept in captivity but are released in the surrounding forest reserve when they have sufficient skills to fend for themselves.
Semenggoh's main attraction is its resident population of semi-wild Orang Utans that are mid-way through the rehabilitation process.
They spend most of their time roaming the forest but frequently come back to the Centre for a free meal.
