Back in the '70s Time Magazine included Tioman in its list of the world's 10 most beautiful islands.
Although more developed now this small Malaysian island is still a little piece of paradise.
The interior is mountainous jungle and the beaches are mostly sandy and palm fringed with clear emerald water ideal for snorkeling.

Hi, nice photos .. now I can see how a wide-angle lens can make a huge difference! Can you please share with us which particular resort is it in Tioman, esp. the one which has pictures of jetty.

I remember flying in to a tiny dirt strip runway to Tioman back in the mid 80s I suppose for a family holiday when we lived in Singapore. A wonderful island. I've often wondered how much more commercialised it is now. thanks for the memories!
