Reservoir backpackers! My experience of Vang Vieng wasnt a pleasant one for exactly this reason. It's like a wild west street of facades with shite hollywood films playing nonstop and rubbish western food. the price of tourism. It's a shame because the surrounding countryside is STUNNING!
