The Zeiss 35 F1.4 Distagon T is a super lens, sharp, sharp, sharp, not only in the center but edge to edge. However, one serious flaw with this lens, the color fringing at F1.4 is HORRIBLE, by far worse than the 35L, 35G & Sigma 35 F1.4, you have to stop down to F2.0 to get rid of that.
