Very interesting to see this "baby" so early in April. They are known to be very early breeders. But this means that the parents were laying in the first week of March, building of course in February. The pair I am watching at the moment are in the process of "going-down" which I was thinking was very early but obviously not. If you take in to account regional climates as well. Spring arrives a few days later in the North compared to the South, so I think this picture is very interesting, confirming as it does that Dippers indeed do breed very early in the season.
