To compensate for my poor sense of direction in the out doors (taking pictures
for PaD, of course) Ethel bought me a Garmin GPS unit for my birthday.
This has led to our introduction to the pastime of "geocaching" - hiding and seeking
'treasures' by geographical coordinates, using a GPS ( see: www.geocaching.com).
A lot of fun, which definitely gets us out to places we might not
ordinarily be -ie perched on the top of some forlorn mountain,
in quest of hidden treasure ! :o)
