October 20 2006:
The Tyre in the Farmhouse

Well, that tyre wasn’t there last time I visited! It’s now getting a bit risky getting inside this building, as I cannot see where the floorboards no longer exist…

I remember the last visit. :) I think some benevolent pbaser put it there for you, like a photo-fairy. :)

What an interesting find! A beautiful mess, with great texture and contrast. Be careful, Ray.

fascinating decay and discards!
I admit - I'm a wuss... would never go there.....

I'm ever in awe of the buildings you find (and roe as well).. I find old places but this rural living means the plant and tree growth is so much I can't get near :S

This is fantastic.. Makes you wonder who'd throw a tire inside? lol
BEeeeeeeeeeee careful!

After the first day of the makeover on changing rooms the team were very "tyred" and a little "board" so they decided to get "plastered!". Sorry ;-). Great work Ray - Voted!

This building looks very decrepit and tyred!
Mind your tread Ray - the last step could be the worst.

Very interesting series! I hope it's your last attempt in this place...

Any place like this around me that was not boarded up would have long sense become unsafe because of squaters and druggies setting up shop there! You have an eye for beauty where most would see none. Well done, Ray.

Lee's comment - 'tread' very carefully - boom boom!

I must say that I find images like this really poignant - what have these walls seen and what's led to them getting to this? Sad!
