January 24 2006:
Church Street

Another shot in my favourite passage way in Woking. It actually follows the line of Church Street which was bisected in the early 1970's when our shopping centre was built in town, mainly on the site of a large car park (as well as the local dance hall!).

When I was growing up in the sixties, Church Street was mostly houses, with a few secondary shops, one of which I think was owned by one of the Bedser Twins, one of whom played for the England cricket team in the forties and fifties.

One of those scene where you wonder if they ( on the right ) are coming toward or walking from. Good shot Ray.

Great movement in this shot. It brings to mind an old album cover. The strong light is great

Very nice work. The colour do seem muted but it works very well.

LOL not very clever when it comes to spelling either......

I like it. Wish I had something cleaver to say but I am not the cleaver type :-(. I like the light, and the color and how there is so much to look at.
