Poppy Seller

They’ve been selling poppies for the last couple of weeks in the run up to Rememberance Sunday on November 13. This old seaman was doing his bit today to raise money for all the servicemen and their families who have paid a high price in times gone by.

His eyes are captured wonderfully. They've seen it all and yet have a glimmer of laughter coming thru. Keep looking and looking at this. Excellent.

My dad served all through WW2. I was 4 when it started.
