Where do I begin?

Well, about 30 years ago they built a temporary day centre for the senior citizens in our town. So temporary in fact, they tore it down last month. And for the last few years our town has been looking for a site to house the Woking Galleries, our vision of an arts centre.

So the die is cast and by 2007, local people will be looking at a golden box as they drive to work every morning, well, that’s how it looks to me. And yes, its using the site of the old day centre.

The foundations of this new building were honoured today by some modern dance entitled ‘Topos’ which I’m told means ‘place’ in Greek.
