I haven’t seen too many books lately containing the “F---- you, Jack” phrase. Its obviously not the done thing nowadays, we now preferring the ‘fuller and frank’ version. But this paperback is actually an early printing of Alan Sillitoe’s “Saturday Night and Sunday Morning” that first hit the streets in 1958. I was given the book by a colleague but found the print too f---ing small to read at night....
