November 4 2004:
Back at the Lock

It would have been criminal not to photograph under Mr Blue Sky today. So I just had time to sneak over to Trigg’s Lock and get this view. I photographed this place on 31 March this year, but today I tried a different position and went down, er, towards the ground.

Photoshop:
Cropped and Resized
Converted to Grayscale
Adjusted in Curves: Input 48: Output 67
Framed using # FFFFFF

On 4 November last year; ‘Steps and Spire’

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/320s f/5.6 at 17.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Great perspective!

That beam looks as if it will crash right through my monitor! Powerful perspective with this shot Ray! Is this close to where you live? The black/white/gray tones are nice and crisp and really emphasize your composition and shapes.

Like the tones and composition. I feel compelled to explore further.

All the tones of gray in this are gorgeous. I'm jealous you have sun and blue skies today!
