January 29 2004:
No takers tonight!

...because its freezing cold! I must admit this looked cool in the LCD but when I returned it was positively dark! But in a funny sort of way I like it, so here it is. I'm uploading it whether you like it or not!

Right, how did you fare on my latest teaser? The most popular answer was "Alien's hand in an x-ray machine", but I largely put that thinking down to the fact that Jeanne is perceived as some kind of God like creature, so she must have been right! Q-tips? Well, what are they?! Unladden swallows? Sorry, not even the Pythonesque ones. And as for alternative medicine, well, what does that do for your brain!! If I had to award any prize, it would have to be to Ron as he came the nearest, but I felt his answer was a bit vague and generic. Well, yes Ron, they are lights. They are actually car headlamps that I spotted through my front door which contains panes of that distorted glass. Well done Ron, you win the right to upload another photo tomorrow!

Well done Ray. First Class.

Indeed Wes. I thought it was maybe the inside of a piano from the thumbnail, and still wasn't sure until I read the description. On the one hand it seems too dark, on the other, that really allows the catchlights to stand out and the lines they make on the edge of the seat and bottom and top of the back create an appealing image. The reddish curving glow of light on the seat is also lovely. Warm colors on a cold night.

nice shot! i don't mind the darkness at all. the warm reflections are very nice. looks more like some musical instrument!

they remind me of teeth on a musicbox, regardless it does not look that inviting, even in fair weather :-)

A very good early morning to you, Ian. I had to go for a tight crop because there were some awkward distractions around. I even thought of cropping tighter to emphasise the red and gold lighting. Such is life!

Very cool Ray. I had no idea what it was from the thumb. The crop's just a tad too tight for comfort IMO otherwise a brillo picture!

Nice colours - I think it works better because of the low light.

That's nice! You'd probably freeze to it if you sat down though.

Very nice. I like the reflection of red on the bench.

What a beautiful bench. I couln't tell from the thumbnail but was very surprised when I saw it in the original size. I like it!

very nice Ray

This is a great bench! Nice lighting too. Looks warm, although I trust you when you say it's cold.

As for the teaser, I understand that you can't admit it's an alien, the government would be all over you, but I'll keep your secret, Ray! ;-)
