I'd tend to agree that they're eyeglass screwdrivers (is that "spanner" in British?) but it's rare to have ONE when you need it, let alone SIX, so maybe not! : ) Great image!

I agree with Rob, they look like those small sets of screwdrivers but I have never seen them in colors so it could be candles. Anyway, it is a very interesting shot.

Yes, candles. I see the wick in the center. We're looking at the base, they're freestanding. Very neat, because all sense of scale is lost in the blackness.

I think they are candles. The bottoms look waxy. I love how the angle has them searing right into a dark, unknown taget, like bullets. You're doing so great with lighting these days!!
