There's been a great deal of emotion here about the passing of Concorde, and it seems that this legend has now found itself the subject of a village float! Major assemblies of Concorde were built at nearby Brooklands and the local area has a great affinity with the bird, especially as Heathrow is only a 30 minute drive away too. The very last Concorde flight, to Bristol-Filton is due to take off from Heathrow on Wednesday 26 November at 11.20.
