Windlesham is a parish in Surrey, and in fact one of the largest parishes in Britain with over 17,000 residents - this status is generally reserved for villages. But in this case the parish also covers two adjoining places which are seen as more important - Bagshot and Lightwater are both on main roads and have more facilities. Windlesham itself has more limited facilities.

Windlesham's most famous resident is probably Queen guitarist Brian May - there are a fair few very large houses in the village.
