Your Currency

Kingston-upon-Thames, England

Whilst the UK launched its new design of £1 coin on 28th March, I only got my first one today. I had this in mind for the theme, but it was a case of 'when'. Whilst the old design will be accepted in shops until mid-October, you'll be able to exchange them at banks for ever.

Nice the way they made the new coins look old and substantial. Personally I preferred the Pound Notes.

I like the design...I still prefer " paper money " a lot less weight to carry around. :)
