Centre stage here is one of several 'Penfold' post boxes which originally was the standard design. Not many originals remain, but in 1988 several replicas were commissioned and placed in spots where they'd look more in place. Tring is rather an old fashioned little town and so I can understand why one has been placed in front of the church of Saints Peter and Paul.
