Bognor Regis, a fairly quiet and sedate seaside town on England's south coast. I remember the build up to the 'Great Bognor Handshake' which was to put Bognor on the worldwide map in 1975. This was the time of the Apollo-Soyuz test project and the first ever international handshake up in space, between an American and a Russian was to take place over Bognor. However, in the end, it all happened over Metz in France!
