Isn't it amazing that they had to resort to pigeon communication. Now, we yak on the phone all day... it's something we take for granted. I had heard of All Alone before, and how she flew 400 miles after being parachuted behind enemy lines. I'm glad to see the recognition to her and all animals who helped win the war.
