I met Tony today who has been homeless for seven years following his divorce. He readily accepts his new life and did not openly beg - he seemed happy that all the local police officers knew him and as he didn't cause any trouble, just like his relationship with the local security guards.

He seemed keen to give the impression that all was not bad, but he did appear grateful for a conversation with somebody.
