SC 321 is a rural highway in SC that passes through many towns that have seen better days but are far from becoming extinct. This gallery will host images that I expect to compile over the coming years as I travel this road on the way to visiting family.
I disagree that these towns are far from becoming extinct. You must have noticed that almost everywhere, generic real estate developments are taking up every available space, all within a mile of a gigantic mall. I truly applaud your decision to document this, what I think is, a vanishing landscape but please, do it quick before it becomes nothing more than a memory. And Craig is right, there is a book here waiting to be born.
