Abby's City Walk - POTW

My Comments:
35mm, f/5.6, 1/30sec ISO 100. I ran across this intersection with Abby - my jack russell terrier, three times to get a usable shot. She was usually walking too fast for me or to close to me. I held the camera at my feet and just shot away - trying to keep the camera pointed at her. This was the best of the bunch. Although the wide angle lens doesn't blur the background, panning is evident in the foreground to imply motion.

Bryan's Comments:
Outstanding if for no other reason then as Alejandra put it, "through Abby's eyes"-anytime you can share a new point of view the eye/brain responds with applause-panning or not-this being panned makes it all the more special-another POTW!

I searched pbase for the keyword "panning" as a friend is entering a competition this week and wanted to see what was out there. This is awesome. Quite unique as the foreground is blurred. What a unique perspective. I love the fact that everytime I come to your old galleries, I discover hidden images like this. Vote!
