Sue and I spent the weekend in Whitby photographing Goths again. We had a great time, met a lot of interesting people and ate some excellent meals. In fact, we had as much fun as we would have done in many places that are regarded as more exotic.
Some viewers have been critical of the Goths. I would point out to those not familiar with this event which occurs so close to my home, that it is essentially a fashion and music event.
Unfortunately, I will not be here for the October Whitby Goth Weekend. I've had a paper accepted in the Frontiers in Engineering Education conference is Washington DC at the same time. I'd rather be in Whitby - trust me!
