This year, Sue and I returned to Japan for our second visit to Tokyo and Kyoto, a week in each.

As before, we loved it. Japan is an amazing and very, very different to place. It's charming and enchanting and totally safe> You are unlikely to be the victim of crime in Japan, although many hours will be stolen from you trying to find your way out of the subway. We stayed at Shinjuku which is probably the busiest rail/subway terminal in the world. We never managed to enter or leave by the same exit twice in all the time we were there.
Photographically, Japan is hard to beat.
