Madrid and Toledo

After my last lecture of the fall term, I dashed off for a long weekend in Madrid. It's a beautiful city with low cost food, good hotels, and a cheap and efficient metro system. It's an excellent destination for the photographer.
One of the reasons for going to Madrid was to visit the magic city of Toledo - it takes only 30 minutes with Spain's new high-speed link.
Although the photography went well - the travel didn't. On the outbound leg, KLM neglected to deliver my luggage and on the inbound leg I got stranded in Amsterdam due to fog at Teesside.
