Alan: I happened across a couple of pbase emails we exchanged years ago, so I took a look at a some of the pictures you've posted since. Great work as before! I'll just note (since I live in the SF area) that this picture is actually a view roughly east to San Francisco Bay. The Pacific Ocean is to the west of SF. The bridge in the picture is the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge. The white things below it are the large cranes for loading and unloading container ships at the Port of Oakland.
