Sue and I flew from Durham Tees Valley to the Humber Estuary to photograph the mudflats. Here are some of the images. The light was hazy, but the sun did shine weakly at times.
Like most images on my website, these have been batch processed to expand contrast, reduce the resolution, and sharpen them. Aerial photos often need quite a bit of processing because they are usually very low contrast due to the way in which the atmosphere scatters light.
We flew over the Humber at about 1,500 feet. On the way back we took some pictures of the heather burning on the North York Moors.
