I am organizing an international competition for computer scientists and was intrigued to find that some of the teams were from a university in Havana. I ended up corresponding with a professor at UCI in Havana and was invited to go and give several lectures and to discuss curriculum development and the translation of some of my work into Spanish. I spent a week in Havana at UCI and had a wonderful time meeting professors and students. I was impressed by their enthusiasm and the quality of the education. Because I was working, I did not have a lot of time for photography - here are some of the images I captured.
