The IEEE Computer Society is holding its sixth anual international design competition in Washington DC in June 2005. Ten teams of four undergraduates from universites all over the world compete for a $20,000 prize.
The competition is largely sponsored by Microsoft and teams have to design a computer based solution to a problem of their own choosing. Teams have to specifiy, construct, test and document a system. The competition is held in the Latham hotel in Georgetown.
