Kuntree Kuzins

A friend asked me to give some reasons to move to Dallas from up north. After thinking awhile,I decided the only 2 reasons would be warmer weather and being close to East Texas.

The more I travel, the more I realize big towns, and big town folks are pretty much the same everywhere. To me a bigger contrast in big city and small town/country life.

I grew up in OKC,about a million or so,and moved to Kilgore texas adout 10,ooo about a dozen years ago.
I live 1 minute from work...I mean really 1 minute. In the spring and summer you cannot see a house from our back yard which is bordered by a creek and full of trees.

The pic above is 2 of my brother-in-laws 4 kids. Patrick and I ran over there this morning to say hi. I left him there for a couple of hours and returned to get some shots of them down at the barn.My kids and their cousins are closer than most siblings,we all live within 5 miles of each other and get along splendidly.

If NOTHING ELSE I drove 30 minutes to work each way in the big city
that's an hour a day
200 hours a year
2000 hours in 10 years.

The commute time is awesome! Great that you can be so close to family too ;)

One day I'll be your neighbor when I move to East Texas. Beautiful capture of these two pretty girls!

Right now my drive is a minimum of 30 minutes each way. 1.5 hours in rush hour. Unfortunately the neighborhoods and schools near work tend to be not the best. Hopefully only a few more years of this.

I always looked more at my drive than at the work itself, the best part is your near your kin, close to work, and closer to country!
