Shopmate

Walker is 12,we just got a dirtbike for him on Craig's List.
Lets just say it didn't run as well as it could.
I challenged him to get it going, and he has taken, and won that challenge.
He is now a 12 year old who understands 2 strokes, but even more impressive, understands carbs and jetting.

You are a great dad.

That is a skill that he will use for life. I wish I had learned that before. It's on my bucket list of things to learn.

Great parenting! How have I missed your work all these years?

This is the best age to learn at and I rebuilt my first small block chevy at 15. So cool he has keen interest...well done Walker & Clark...braVo...Mike

I am 42 and still don't understand it. My Harley is Fuel Injected so I doubt this is an area I learn on the back side of my life. Very cool...
Had it been me at 12, there'd have been a pile of left over parts. I failed small engine repair in school.

Nice candid Jim, always good to know something about those mechanical problems that come up, many lessons from this can be applied to other parts of our life also. Congrats to Walker!
