Differences

I'm finally realizing that one of our biggest problems in America today is intolerance.
When Iwas growing up(I know...long ago) we were taught to be tolerant of peoples differences and accept them.
Now everyone wants to change people to fit their mold. Conservatives and Liberals alike.

See my youngest son shooting an AK47. Cristi and I took our Concealed Handgun License course, and our friend, and instructor Ken insisted we bring the kids. In other parts of the country, this is likely frowned upon, and there is actually an ongoing debate, and movement by some to take this right away.

I remember my dad teaching me how to shoot and gun safety, most would say I turned out fine.

Oh to be living in Texas where people won't give up their rights as easily as happens (or as our Governor is trying to make happen) here in New York State. In spite of the tragedy of Christmas Eve here, gun ownership is a right in the USA and I support it 100%.

Guest did you read the under the picture???This is what I'm talking about. I think you are crazy to give up any rights, including guns, but that is you're business,I guess I can live with that, how about you do the same for me and stop telling me I have to live like you.......with all due respect....

What I think...lets arm everyone and mean everyone and have shoot outs like in the old west, why not, that is what NRA is talking about, maybe be should start riding horses again.

It's good for you to "arm" your children with knowledge. Image makes me gulp a bit, but that's what art is supposed to do... right?

And Canada is different also...most of us only see AK's in the movies.......

Whether or not he ever wants to shoot a gun it's always good to teach them what and what not to do! We hear all the horror stories of kids shooting family or friends 'cause they don't have an idea of how to safely handle a firearm. Most kids only see the TV way and not the safe way! Congrats to you and Cristi for training the kids before an accident occurs!

I was >--< this close to doing a pro-gun rant tonight. I'll save it for a while. I may or may not be in possession of numerous firearms. What I definitely don't have is an AK. I went to order one recently but was 2 weeks too late. Everything is back-ordered indefinitely. Even if our guns are left intact, it will take two years for the gun makers to recover from the panic buying. Obama is the best gun salesman the world has ever seen. I may be moving to the sovereign Republic of Texas soon.

What's really sad is that Ian is 10 and just now going to be having some quality time with dad and 2 Red Ryder BB guns. Your kids are rocking AK's. ;)

It's ok...Ian's not ready yet. Maybe next year.

I could write pages and pages of what I feel is wrong with the media, society, and their fear of firearms. We've had similar discussions before, Clark. Sadly, the media has their agenda, and it's always going to align with what keeps them in business, not reporting facts.

Cool shot...now I want an AK dammit.
