The HOG

Big Kilgore home of the World's richest acre

Well one reason I have slacked on my PAD---I mean PAW
Is the ole' Harley. I have never been able to find anybody
who knows much about working on my Shovelhead(an older model)
Well I went through 3 harley shops and 3 individuals, and was unhappy with all.
So I got mad and bought a book and , by golly , did it myself.
Today was the first test ride(note no fenders, lights , tag , etc.

(I know mom no helmet either but I waited till there were no cars
and only went 2 blocks to check it all out before finishing.)

It was very satisfying, and I got a racing stripe on my back from a recent sprinkle. Walker got a BIG kick out of that.
(maybe that's what fenders are for)

STAY TUNED FOR A RIDDLE of sorts tomorrow.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Hi Doc,

My boyfriend just totalled his Harley on I-20 before Memorial Day. He had a helmet on and bailed off, tucked and rolled. He is miraculously alive with 6 broken ribs, had a collapsed lung and blood on the brain, (no lasting head injury) a broken collar bone and road rash all over. After 3 weeks (about 2 weeks in ICU) he is finally home
and looking forward to a summer of rehab. Need I say more? You're a dear, but lately when I see you guys without helmets I get so angry. From my perspective, the hospital visits were the most emotionally draining of my life.

Your Patient,

Kathy Garvin

Now you sound like us...we don't trust anyone with our vehicles. My truck has been in the shop a grand total of one, and only because I needed them to run a diagnostic on it. Something so simple yet it turned into one of my worst nightmares.

I'm enjoying your pad. Yes, I knew you could do it (fix it) and to remember the helmet. You are cool, son.

Good shot of you! I like the water stripe up your back! Now, get some plates on that thing before you get a ticket!

Real men don't need fenders!

Good job pushing the button Cristi.
