flashy

This came out of the thundercloud in yesterdays post.
Whenever I hear the low rumble of thunder
I look for lightning flashing and grab my camera gear.
Driving with my knee,I change camera settingshurrying to an open area.
When there is this much light ,
ya just gotta fire the shutter repeatedly and hope for the best.I took about 200 shots.
Lightning is one of those high yield(WOW FACTOR) shots.
Not much skill involved, but if someone doesnt know that, they are wowed.
John Buffin,on the other hand,is a talented portrait shooter.
He has a new subject to practice on.

Thanks for the shout out my friend. Taking portraits is easy when you've got good looking subjects.
There was a huge spider web of lightning here last night that I would have traded all my glass except one to get a shot of. 200:1 sounds about right. ;)
Nice foreground for your bolt.
